The recent ISSO National Taekwondo Championship witnessed an inspiring display of skill, determination and sportsmanship by our talented students who brought home gold and silver medals. These incredible Glendale Academy achievements once again shine a spotlight on the school’s commitment to nurturing holistic excellence in academics and athletics.

A Golden Kick to Glory!

Representing Glendale at the National level Taekwondo event was no small feat. Our spirited students showcased remarkable skill and grit in the Under-14 Taekwondo and Under-11 Taekwondo categories, competing with some of the finest athletes from across the country.

With confidence in their eyes and courage in their hearts, Glendale’s young athletes delivered outstanding performances; earning well-deserved recognition among the top schools India ISSO.

Hyderabad’s Pride: 6 Medals, 3 Champions, 1 Glendale Spirit!

Hyderabad Glendale Academy, Suncity; made the city proud by winning six medals at the ISSO Taekwondo National Championship 2025. The championship was held at Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School, Mumbai, on 21 and 22 September 2025. Competing against 61 schools from across India, Glendale’s four-member team brought home three Gold and three Silver medals. This win placed the school among the Top 10 Schools in India on the ISSO Achievers Board 2025 – 26.

Our star performers; Rabhya Verma, Aairah Alina Ahmed and Aahil Ayan Ahmed; truly embodied the Glendale spirit.

Rabhya Verma (Grade 8) dominated the Under-14 Taekwondo category, winning two Gold Medals for the second consecutive year. Her success follows an international Silver Medal at the 2023 Taekwondo Poomsae Championship in Japan.

Aairah Alina Ahmed (Grade 5) shone bright in the Under-11 Taekwondo category, earning one Gold and one Silver Medal.

Aahil Ayan Ahmed (Grade 4) showcased equal grit and precision, bringing home two Silver Medals in the same category.

Together; they have set a shining example of student achievements in Taekwondo at the National level Taekwondo championship.
